Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Dover Green Wave (Dover, NH), 6-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Merrimack upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Tomahawks travel to Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH) to play the Cardinals in a Division I game on Thursday, May 7. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 5-3. Bishop Guertin won 11-5 in their recent league game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH)

The Green Wave now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Spaulding for a Division I game on Friday, May 8. Dover will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Pinkerton (Derry, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-9.
