O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers face the Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 10. O'Fallon will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
The Crusaders now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Vernon for a South Seven challenge on Saturday, May 8. Althoff Catholic will face a Rams team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Salem (Salem, IL). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
