The Yellowjackets now sport a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerset for a non-league match on Friday, May 7. Woodford County will face a Briar Jumpers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Madison Southern falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Boyle County (Danville, KY) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 11. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 8-1.
