In Friday's league game, the host Averill Park Warriors baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Schenectady Patriots.
The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Tamarac (Troy, NY). The Bengals go into the non-league game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Tamarac tipped Greenwich (Greenwich, NY), 15-5, in a league game.
The Patriots (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Shaker (Latham, NY). The Bison go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, Shaker was overwhelmed by Colonie Central (Albany, NY), 2-1, in a league game.
