In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Bedford North Lawrence Stars.
The Bluejackets (13-5) will now prepare for their game against Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Edgewood tipped Carmel (Carmel, IN), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Stars (10-10) will now prepare for their game against Seymour (Seymour, IN). The Owls go into the Hoosier Hills game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Seymour was overwhelmed by Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN), 10-0, in a non-league game.
