The Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) lacrosse triumphed over the host St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), 17-9 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Belleville West upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Maroons travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to battle the Indians in a Southwest Prarie outing on Saturday, May 7. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 3-7.
With the defeat, St. Francis drops to 9-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to battle the Redhawks in a non-league outing on Monday, May 9. The Redhawks go into the outing with a record of 0-13. Naperville Central lost 17-4 in their recent league outing against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)
