The North Smithfield Northmen lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 3 in the Northmen league win on Friday.

The Northmen (3-0) will now prepare for their game against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the Division 3 game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, East Providence prevailed over North Providence (North Providence, RI), 16-3, in a league game.

The Thunderbolts (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains come into the Division 3 battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Ponaganset thwarted Coventry (Coventry, RI), 16-6, in a league battle.
