In Friday's non-league test, the host Ridgefield Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 victory over the New Fairfield Rebels.
The Tigers now have a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenwich for a Fairfield County-West test on Tuesday, May 10. Ridgefield will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-2.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) in a South West test, on Tuesday, May 10. New Fairfield will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 11-1 record after their 18-7 non-league win over Fitch (Groton, CT).
