Utah High School Lacrosse - Provo Payson

In Friday's league test, the visiting Payson Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 victory over the Provo Bulldogs.

The Lions now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Salem Hills for a 5A Region 9 test on Wednesday, May 11. Payson will face a Skyhawks squad coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Orem (Orem, UT). The Skyhawks record now stands at 6-8.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) in a 5A Region 9 test, on Wednesday, May 11. Provo will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Wasps come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 13-1 league win over Springville (Springville, UT).
