The St. Ignatius Wildcats lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the host St. Xavier Bombers to 7 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.
The Wildcats (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH). The Pioneers go into the non-league match with a 16-3 record. In their last match, Western Reserve Academy nudged Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH), 20-4, in a non-league match.
The Bombers (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Wyoming (Cincinnati, OH). The Cowboys go into the non-league match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Wyoming was tipped by Indian Hill (Cincinnati, OH), 17-7, in a league match.
