The Melbourne Bearkatz softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Bigelow Panthers to 3 in the Bearkatz non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Melbourne moves its record to 22-8 on the year. The Bearkatz travel to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, May 7. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 9-6.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 10. Bigelow will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 8-15 record after their 19-4 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AR).
