The Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) softball nipped the visiting Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes (Calhoun Falls, SC), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Saints (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC). The War Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 20-7 record. In their last bout, Wagener-Salley was edged by McBee (McBee, SC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
The Blue Flashes now possess a 1-10 record.
