The Greenfield Green Wave softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Smith Academy Falcons to 1 in the Green Wave non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Greenfield moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Hampshire Regional (Westhampton, MA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, May 9. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 10-2. Hampshire Regional won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Agawam (Agawam, MA)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors (Buckland, MA) in a PVIAC - Franklin East game, on Tuesday, May 10. Smith Academy will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
