New Mexico High School Softball - Hobbs bounces Volcano Vista

Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 18-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Hobbs will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 21-6.

With the loss, Volcano Vista falls to 15-9 on the campaign.
