In Friday's non-league contest, the Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) softball team held off the visiting Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Williston-Elko moves its record to 10-10 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Whitmire (Whitmire, SC) to play the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Monday, May 9. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 8-12. Whitmire lost 16-2 in their recent non-league contest against Lewisville (Richburg, SC)
