The Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) softball the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), 4-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Marauders (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Arabians go into the Hoosier Heritage bout with a 15-3 record. In their last bout, Pendleton Heights held off Connersville (Connersville, IN), 5-3, in a non-league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Connersville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 10.
