Spectators at Friday's league match between the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) and the visiting Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), witnessed Poland's softball squad prevail over Wells by a count of 23-0.

The Knights now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Yarmouth for a Class B South match on Monday, May 9. Poland will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to York (York, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Wells moves to 0-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME) to meet the Patriots in a Class B South match on Saturday, May 7. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 1-4. Gray-New Gloucester lost 18-2 in their recent league match against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME)
