Illinois High School Baseball - Clifton Central can't hold off Salt Fork

The Salt Fork Storm baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Clifton Central Comets to 9 in the Storm non-league victory on Saturday.

The Storm (16-9) will now prepare for their match against Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Raiders go into the Vermilion Valley match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Iroquois West tipped Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL), 6-1, in a league match.

The Comets (17-6) will now prepare for their match against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 20-6 record. In their last match, Tolono Unity tipped Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 8-7, in a non-league match.
