The Newark Charter School Patriots baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Concord Raiders to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.
The Patriots (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE). The Auks go into the Diamond State match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Archmere Academy was overwhelmed by Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Raiders (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Dickinson (Wilmington, DE). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 2-6 record.
