In Saturday's non-league game, the host Sun Prairie West Wolves baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the DeForest Norskies.
The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI). The Vikings go into the Big Eight game with a 4-12 record.
The Norskies (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Blackhawks go into the Badger - East game with a 11-8 record. In their last game, Fort Atkinson was edged by Union Grove (Union Grove, WI), 11-1, in a non-league game.
