With the win, River Valley advances its record to 7-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to confront the Knights in a non-league outing on Monday, May 8. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 3-11. Norrix lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI)

Next, the Chieftains confront the Berrien Springs Shamrocks (Berrien Springs, MI) in a Lakeland outing, on Tuesday, May 9. Dowagiac will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record.
