Missouri High School Baseball - Festus loses to Vianney

The Vianney Golden Griffins crushed the visiting Festus Tigers baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Golden Griffins now possess a 26-5 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Zumwalt West for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 6. Vianney will face a Jaguars team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 22-6.
Next, the Tigers face the Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO) in a Class 5 District 1 bout, on Monday, May 8. Festus will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL).
