Ohio High School Baseball - Hopewell-Loudon loses to Van Buren

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains baseball team (Bascom, OH), 4-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH)

The Black Knights now hold a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a Blanchard Valley outing on Tuesday, May 9. Van Buren will confront a Falcons team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 15-4.

Next, the Chieftains confront the Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River outing, on Wednesday, May 10. Hopewell-Loudon will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Stockaders go into the outing with a 11-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH).
