Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host King's Knights (Seattle, WA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Overlake upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season.
With the defeat, King's falls to 5-8 on the season. The Knights host South Whidbey (Langley, WA) to play the Falcons in a 1A Emerald Sound battle on Saturday, May 13. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 8-9. South Whidbey won 2-0 in their recent league battle against University Prep (Seattle, WA)
