In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting St. John's Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Nashoba Regional Wolves.
The Pioneers (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Malden Catholic (Malden, MA). The Lancers go into the Catholic game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Malden Catholic was overwhelmed by Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
The Wolves (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Wachusett Regional tipped Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 10-0, in a league game.
