The Pomperaug Panthers baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds to 2 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their match against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave go into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, New Milford was edged by Joel Barlow (Redding, CT), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Greyhounds (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Derby (Derby, CT). The Red Raiders go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Derby was edged by Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 18-2, in a league outing.
