The Niles Vikings baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting River Valley Mustangs to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their match against St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 12-7 record. In their last match, St. Joseph gained a win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 2-0, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (7-11) will now prepare for their match against Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI). The Chieftains go into the non-league match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Dowagiac was overwhelmed by Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI), 9-4, in a non-league match.
