The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Reed-Custer Comets to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans (24-7) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Braves go into the non-league match with a 15-9 record. In their last match, Mt. Zion ran past Charleston (Charleston, IL), 11-1, in a league match.

The Comets (19-7) will now prepare for their match against Serena (Serena, IL). The Huskers go into the non-league match with a 12-10 record.
