The John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Mamaroneck Tigers (Mamaroneck, NY), 14-7 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, John Jay upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Wolves travel to Mahopac (Mahopac, NY) to battle the Indians in a Section I -B outing on Monday, May 8. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 6-7. Mahopac lost 10-9 in their recent league outing against Clarkstown North (New City, NY)
With the defeat, Mamaroneck drops to 6-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rye (Rye, NY) to battle the Garnets in a Section I -D outing on Tuesday, May 9. The Garnets go into the outing with a record of 10-4. Rye won 7-5 in their recent league outing against Bronxville (Bronxville, NY)
