Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 8. Geneva will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Storm enter the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 0-0 league Bartlett (Bartlett, IL).
The Rockets now have a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to McHenry for a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Central will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
