Next, the Whip-Purs confront the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Tuesday, May 9. Hampshire will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 1-0 league win over McHenry (McHenry, IL).

The Maroons now have a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Elgin will confront a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 10-7.
