The Metcalfe County Hornets baseball team (Edmonton, KY), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY)

The Cougars now hold a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Warren for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 9. Logan County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 6-6 non-league Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
