In Saturday's non-league contest, the Jefferson County Wild (Shenandoah Junction, WV) lacrosse squad the visiting Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), by a count of 7-5.

Coming up next, the Wild confront the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 11. Jefferson County will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 0-0 league Musselman (Inwood, WV).
