Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT), 13-6 in a league battle.
The Griffins now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Phillips Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 13.
In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the St. Luke's Storm (New Canaan, CT) in a Nepsac battle, on Monday, May 8. Frederick Gunn will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Storm come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 8-5 league loss to King (Stamford, CT).
