In Saturday's non-league contest, the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) lacrosse squad routed the host Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH), by a count of 12-7.
Coming up next, the Green Wave confront the Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) in a Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, May 9. Holy Name will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Demons come into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 12-3 league loss to Wooster (Wooster, OH).
The Monarchs now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin Scioto for a Region 1 contest on Tuesday, May 9. Marysville will confront a Irish squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Northview (Sylvania, OH). The Irish record now stands at 6-8.
