New York High School Lacrosse - Lockport drops to Starpoint

Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Lockport Lions (Lockport, NY), 17-7 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsville South for a Class C battle on Wednesday, May 10. Starpoint will clash with a Billies squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Grand Island (Grand Island, NY). The Billies record now stands at 6-5.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Medina Mustangs (Medina, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 8. Lockport will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 20-1 league win over Newfane (Newfane, NY).
