Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) and the host Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN), witnessed Adams Central's softball squad tip Central Noble by a count of 9-8.

The Flying Jets now sport a 15-2 record. They play next when they host New Haven for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 9. Adams Central will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Central Noble moves to 13-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Fairfield (Goshen, IN) to face the Falcons in a Northeast Corner match on Monday, May 8. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 12-9. Fairfield lost 6-3 in their recent non-league match against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN)
