Ben Lomond Scots (Ogden, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Delta Rabbits (Delta, UT), 14-13 in a non-league challenge.
The Scots now own a 7-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grantsville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Ben Lomond will battle a Cowboys squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Cowboys record now stands at 22-4.
With the loss, Delta falls to 3-12 on the campaign.
