Ohio High School Softball - Boardman knocked off by Sharpsville

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), by a margin of 8-0.

With the triumph, Sharpsville moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Farrell (Farrell, PA) to play the Steelers in a District 10 Region 1 contest on Monday, May 8. The Steelers come into the contest with a record of 1-7. Farrell lost 11-0 in their recent league contest against Reynolds (Greenville, PA)

In their next game, the Spartans play the Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 6. Boardman will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Rovers come into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 8-0 league win over Southeast (Ravenna, OH).
