Connecticut High School Softball - Norwich Free Academy holds off Brookfield

The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats the visiting Brookfield Bobcats softball squad by a final score of 4-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Waterford by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bobcats now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kolbe-Cathedral for a Southwest - Patriot battle on Monday, May 8. Brookfield will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Bassick (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.
