In Saturday's non-league contest, the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), by a margin of 10-3.

With the triumph, Burncoat moves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 9. The Aztecs come into the contest with a record of 1-5.

In their next game, the Sammies play the Blackstone-Millville Chargers (Blackstone, MA) in a Dual Valley contest, on Monday, May 8. Sutton will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 17-0 league win over Douglas (Douglas, MA).
