Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 6-14 record.

With the loss, Cedarville falls to 9-16 on the campaign. The Indians host Southeastern Local (South Charleston, OH) to clash with the Trojans in a Ohio Heritage South game on Monday, May 8. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 12-6. Southeastern Local lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)
