Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Comets now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Kingston for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6.
With the loss, Lake City falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to face the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 1-8.
