The DeForest Norskies softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Madison West Regents to 8 in the Norskies non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, DeForest moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Norskies host Stoughton (Stoughton, WI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, May 8. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 3-12. Stoughton lost 11-4 in their recent league game against Milton (Milton, WI)

In their next game, the Regents clash with the Janesville Craig Cougars (Janesville, WI) in a Big Eight game, on Tuesday, May 9. Madison West will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 6-5 record after their 8-2 league loss to Verona (Verona, WI).
