The Marcellus Mustangs softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans to 5 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Marcellus improves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Hannibal (Hannibal, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 3 Liberty game on Tuesday, May 9. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 5-4.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Syracuse Cougars (Syracuse, NY) in a game, on Monday, May 8. East Syracuse-Minoa will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 0-7 record after their 4-2 league loss to Oswego (Oswego, NY).
