Indiana High School Softball - Greenfield-Central bounces Jay County

The Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) softball routed the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 16-8 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Fishers (Fishers, IN). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Fishers toppled Lebanon (Lebanon, IN), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host New Castle for a non-league bout on Monday, May 8. Jay County will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 5-11.
