In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Marengo Indians softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Joliet West Tigers.

Coming up next, the Indians battle the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River outing, on Monday, May 8. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 22-3 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the outing with a 1-16 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL).

The Tigers (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats enter the Suburban Prairie - South outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, Plainfield Central was routed by Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 6-5, in a non-league outing.
