Indiana High School Softball - Kokomo bounces Richmond

Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) and the host Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN), witnessed Kokomo's softball squad prevail over Richmond by a count of 16-2.

The Wildkats now sport a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pendleton Heights for a non-league match on Monday, May 8. Kokomo will meet a Arabians squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Arabians record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Richmond moves to 2-13 on the season. The Red devils host Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN) to meet the Royals in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 10. The Royals go into the match with a record of 14-6. Hamilton Southeastern lost 1-0 in their recent league match against Westfield (Westfield, IN)
