The LeRoy Panthers routed the visiting Morton Potters softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (24-5) will now prepare for their battle against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Athens topped New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL), 7-3, in a league battle.

The Potters now sport a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Limestone for a Mid-Illini battle on Tuesday, May 9. Morton will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Lewistown (Lewistown, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 5-12.
