Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Porters now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they host Antioch for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Lockport will face a Sequoits squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Sequoits record now stands at 19-0.

With the loss, Naperville Central falls to 10-17 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Antioch (Antioch, IL) to face the Sequoits in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Sequoits enter the challenge with a record of 19-0. Antioch won 7-3 in their recent league game against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL)
